HOW TO BUY MAKEUP FROM AMERICA – Part 2

Posted by

Hi!! So with the help of  I’ve gone shopping again! My first post HERE I in-depth explain how to shop from America. Today I’m going to briefly go over it but also show you what I got!

So I’ve stopped buying makeup here and there from Priceline and supermarkets etc if it’s not on my list. I’ve been buying the majority of my makeup online, with most being from America. I slowly over a month collected a few things using com gateway and when my 4 packages where at my american address I shipped them. Most makeup sites ship for free within America when you spend over $30-$50 so I Didn’t pay for postage from the online store to my American address at all. The only postage I paid was once I shipped everything to me in Australia.

SEPHORA

BECCA – Champagne Pop – $39

I HAD to get Jaclyn Hills highlighter with Becca called “Champagne pop” the fist lot sold out in an hour! a couple of hours later it was back online so I grabbed it! For my Sephora orders I use the Buy For Me form from , a lot of Sephora orders using an Australian credit card get cancelled so with the buy for me form a staff member buys your order for you. this way I knew my order wouldn’t cancel!

Champagne pop is totally worth the money and the hype. Its beautiful and very different from any other highlighter I own. Its limited edition so if you can BUY IT!

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS – Artist Palette – $30

if you follow me on instagram or you’ve read my posts before you already know Anastasia Beverly Hills is my favourite brand. I love the products, the packaging and the people behind the brand. Norvina and Anastasia are very connected with their customers so they really know what we want. I was dying to try some of their eye shadows but just didn’t have the money to grab a bunch of single shadow so I got the Aritst palette, just $30. which is a great price. I’m loving Dusty Rose and Buttery!

SEPHORA  – Cream Lip Stain – $14 – Marvelous Mauve

if you’re a “beauty Addict” Like me you’ve been trying to get your hands on Stila All day liquid lipstick in “Patina” forever and it’s always sold out, Sephora’s “Marvelous Mauve” is supposed to be an exact dupe. So far so good.

TOO FACED – Born This Way Foundation $39 – Light Beige

I’ve heard everyone and their mother rave about this! I’ve been loving it, Would you like a review?

BECCA – Lowlight HighlightPerfecting Palette $42

I got this gorgeous little palette to include in my contour post! also because the Highlight shades the very popular Becca Highlight “Opal”

BITE BEAUTY – Matte Creme Lip Crayon $24

Once again  Told me to buy this so I did (she has no consideration for my bank account hahaha) She’s always spot on with her recommendations So I got it in the colour Glace a soft mauve shade.

URBAN DECAY – Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer $28 – Light Neutral

Again Every one is raving about this! When this is the only concealer Jaclyn Hill uses these days You no you need it! I’ve been using it for a week and it really is so so good!

LORAC

Lorac Has come out with a new PRO Contouring kit! for $42 to get the kit and the brush, I have a huge contouring post to come so I really wanted to try this! SO far its beautiful, I can’t fault it, My anastasia Bevely hills palette wins and the I think the Kat Von D palette is just ahead of this one. But you get a brush with this so If you don’t want the Anastasia Palette go for this!

BEAUTY.COM

IT COSMETICS – Your Skin But Better CC Cream – $38

Oh My Friend Daniela from again MADE ME buy this. haha. She highly recommended it, and if she recommends something, you trust it! this is a cc cream. It cosmetics products are makeup thats also skin care! so this is a luminous foundation, a spf 50 and its a serum. I really love this. It leaves my skin looking so beautiful. The only downside is that it’s not long wearing its recommended that you reapply every 2 hours, but if you’ve set with powder etc thats out of the question. If I wear a mattifying moisturiser and primer then set with powder I can wear it for 6-7 hours 🙂

SMASHBOOX Double Exposure Palette

I had heard so much about the full exposure palette that when I saw the double exposure I had to get it. I also got my sister inlay one for her 30th Birthday. the cool thing about these shadows is that you can wet your brush and completely change the eyeshadow for shimmery to full on metallic which is cool. so far I’ve used this twice and I’m not in love, I’m not to sure what I think of it.

DRUGSTORE.COM

La Girl Cosmetics – Pro Conceal – $2.99

I got 2 different shades of this it’s so cheap like $3 but it honestly has high-end quality (its in my favourites post HERE) I got two darker ones for cream contouring and a back up of my underage highlight

MILANI BLUSH – Tea Rose – $6.79

This was also so dam cheap, I got this basically for the rose pattern, Milani also has really great “Drug store” products so I had to try this, so far so good!

So I wanted to explain about and  ,  they are sister sites. One sells high-end makeup and the other sells drugstore makeup. You can use the 2 sites and one shopping cart. So I added my highend stuff and then jumped on drugstore.com and added my affordable stuff and then checked out all at once. I had no problem using my australia credit card on these sites so thats great. Definitely check them out it’s an easy way to get makeup in one go and not have to go to different sites.

check out my post HERE for more details on how to shop from America, I Know it seems scary but it’s really not its quite easy. As far as I know Lorac, Mac and Beauty.com are cool to except australian credit cards and don’t cancel orders, Sephora is all over the place, In my opinion its better to use the buy for me form on the Comgateway website.

Hope you like this Post, Please Let me no if you want reviews on anything. This was a HUGE haul and so exciting to get in the Mail! I Saved for this so it was really exciting to receive! thank you Again!
